Return and Refund Policy


At Basmati Grocery Store, we stand behind the quality of our products and aim to provide excellent customer service. All purchases made through our online store are covered by our return and refund policy. Please read the following guidelines for returns and refunds:

Change of Mind:

Before Delivery: If you change your mind after placing an order but before we leave for delivery, you can cancel or modify your order. No additional charges will apply.

After Delivery: Once the delivery has been made, if you change your mind about a product, you may return it. Please note the following conditions:

  1. After we leave for delivery ,you will be responsible for covering the return shipping costs.
  2. After you received your product, if you change your mind you have to pay a delivery charge plus 20% of the purchase.

    Faulty Items:

    If you receive a faulty or damaged item, please contact our customer care team within 2 hours of receiving the product.

    You may take a photo or video of the faulty product and send it to our customer care team for verification.

    Our team will arrange a refund or replacement for the faulty item. You can either return the product directly to our store or wait for our delivery team to collect it when you place your next order. Please retain your receipt until the matter is resolved.


    Perishable Items:

    We are committed to providing quality products to our customers. If you receive a faulty or damaged perishable item, please contact our team within 2 hours of delivery, and we will promptly assist you.


    Exchanges:

    If you wish to exchange a product, it should be in its original condition, including packaging, and you must provide the original receipt. Exchanges are subject to product availability.

     

    Non-Refundable Items:

    Discounted items and items purchased during promotional events are non-refundable. This policy only applies to sale/ promotion/ offer priced items.



    We strictly adhere to the Australian Consumer Law, and all customers are entitled to their rights and guarantees as provided by the law.
